Our 52 acre farm allows for a quiet retreat with our instructor Stephanie to reconnect you with nature through yoga. We offer multiple different themed yoga events throughout the year, be sure to check in with us regularly!
Hey! My name is Stephanie Overmann. I live in Simpsonville with my family which includes two dogs & cats. I discovered yoga as a teenager and fell in love with it and I am so excited to be able to teach at the farm.
I received my 200 hour RYT and Kids Yoga certificate at the National Yoga Academy in Virginia Beach, VA in 2017 and I am currently studying for my 300 hour. I truly believe that yoga is for everybody and I want to share that with the world.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my family and two dogs as well as face and body painting.
Who said yoga is just for adults? Keep an eye on our sessions below for the next kids class
Garden Yoga, Zip n Zen, Sunset Yoga, These are just a few classes we offer. See below for our next class.
Need we say more? Our goat yoga sessions are held once per month (weather permitting). Stay tuned to our upcoming sessions below for the announcement of our next one!
Come out for yoga with the newest additions to our farm, pygmy goats! Our first goat yoga class was a hit and sold out quickly. Keep an eye out for our June announcement and make sure you reserve your spot as soon as possible!
All events will be held on the farm (181 Barefoot Acres Way Fountain Inn, SC 29644). We will include the location on the farm where each yoga session will be held. Ex. Our Goat Yoga will always be held in the fenced in area behind the red barn.
Once you turn off of Fairview Rd, you will see a sign with an arrow pointing to the designated parking area. The group will meet Stephanie at a designated spot and head to the session location from there.
Any comfortable clothing is fine. Be sure to check the forecast the day prior to make sure you dress appropriately. For the goat yoga, keep in mind that the goats will use you for their parkour tricks, so bring clothes you don't mind getting a little dirt on.
At our goat yoga sessions, we welcome you to give our babies some lovin'. With that being said, they are our babies and ask that you are respectful of this to foster a welcoming environment for both other people and our animals.
Because much of what we do is outdoors, our team keeps a close eye on the weather. If we believe conditions aren't suitable for a session, we will notify you of updates via our Facebook page (@barefootacressc). Please be sure to follow us and stay updated.
Yes, we will have yoga mats available for $2 per session.
