On one side was the dream of opening a farm for families to come and hang out.
A place to grow flowers, pumpkins, strawberries and produce. A relaxing environment
A place to relax, take a stroll through the woods or to hang out and picnic with friends and family.
On the other side the dream of opening an adventure park full of thrills, challenges and experiences.
Racing Ziplines
Challenge course built for differing abilities
Hiking trail to take a stroll and watch the adventure activities
Combining both main aspects of the farm gives us the perfect environment to facilitate team bonding.
Corporate teams, athletic teams and all groups in between benefit from Barefoot adventure facilitation.
Where do you need to grow? What do you want to achieve?
Let Barefoot Acres take your organization to new heights!
Knot your typical classroom, that's for sure! We pride ourselves on this. Real life examples of growth, conservation, exploration, human studies, wildlife identification, cultivation and so much more encompass Barefoot Acres.
What are you teaching?
Let us tie it all together!
We know it seems like an oxymoron, but yes closed toe shoes are required for safety reasons while participating in ALL adventure activities.
Yes there are both minimum and maximum weight requirements. The challenge course and ziplines minimum weight is 40 pounds and the maximum is 250 pounds. The rest of the farm has no weight restrictions.
We encourage everyone to come out and play. The challenge course and ziplines are dependent on abilities more than age. We strive to provide everyone an activity so give us a call and let us help you shape your adventure.
We operate in all types of weather but if we do have to close we will notify everyone with reservations and post publicly, as soon as reasonably possible. Tours may be delayed, cancelled or rescheduled prior to, at the time of and during activities.
All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to reservation in order to receive a refund, period!
Dress for the weather! Just make sure clothing is not too loose and not too tight to interfere with the activities you are participating in. All long hair will need to be pulled back and secured when participating in any adventure activity.
We have tried to answer the common questions but are sure there are more so feel free to contact us with any and all that you may have!
No you don't have to wear a mask but you are welcome to. Our Guides will wear masks in close contact situations and at their discretion. Each staff member is medically qualified on a daily basis.
