Meet Urban Roots Collective owners
Both Jody and Mady are first generation farmers. Jody grew up in Connecticut while Mady grew up in the urban part of Pennsylvania. Neither of these women had any experience when they began their respective farms, but knew it was the path for them. Once finding each other it was clear that competition was not in their vocabularies. With compassion and communication, the beginnings of their collaboration were born.
What once was helping each other with a couple baskets of veggies here and there then turned into a flourishing flower business and has now become its final form in Urban Roots Collective.

Meet the farm owners
In 2019 Troy & Jody took a leap of faith and purchased a 52 acre farm, embarking on a mission to cultivate & provide fresh, seasonal produce to their community and local markets.
With four high tunnels on the farm their commitment to regenerative farming techniques shines through. Their farm also embraces the rearing of heritage meats, honoring traditions and flavors of the past.
Through their efforts, they continue to inspire others to connect with the land, fostering a healthier and more mindful way of living.
